In this case, the key issue was not comparing products but rebuilding the schedule around the actual installation sequence.
- The first task was identifying which items were needed earliest.
- Grouping every item together would have increased schedule delay because lead times were uneven.
- The site needed staged response by changeover timing rather than a single full inbound event.
HKIS did not simply list item-by-item lead times. We reorganized the shipment flow according to the actual installation order so the customer could make decisions directly from the changeover schedule.
